I need help on how to draw?

So i know how to draw cartoons and everything, and according to people i can draw really good. However, i can’t draw people! I mean i can draw they’re body and what they’re wearing and all that, i just can’t draw the face( (eyes, nose, mouth, etc..) I was wondering if you can still be considered an artist even if you can’t draw people? Also, does anyone know a website on how to draw people? Thanks in advance(:

Your question was so interesting because that’s all i CAN draw, is people. Faces, and torso? i don’t get it. But yes, I am an extremely good artist with what i CAN do. I know you really want to draw these people, but have you ever thought that maybe you can try to develop what you can do and either work on mastering THAT, while developing your talent slowly on these "people", or just stick with what you know, which makes life so much simpler. I gave up on abstract art and i was sad that i couldn’t create in my head liek all the other artists in my classes, the ones that can create tattoos and things like that. I can only draw what i see. I can play with the proprtions and recreate what i see, but i have to see it. So if you are interested in drawing people, maybe you can go to the used book store and browsa the art section, and find yourself a good book of interest that may help you. Not to discourage you or anything but if you find it hard and you are forcing it, sometimes that is not the gift you are suppose to be working on developing, so master the gift you do have and the rest should follow in time. good luck

I think "artist" is a loose term. If you like to draw, that’s what really matters. I wouldn’t worry about not being able to draw people. Faces are really hard, but with some practice you can get good at it. I couldn’t find a good website, but you can probably find a good book at Walmart or something…

Remember, art is a learning process, and not a destination. Even the best artists are still learning.

    Examples?
Yes, you can, lots of artists "don’t draw people" however practice is best

Of course you can still be an artist even if you have difficultly with one subject matter! Anyone who says otherwise obviously isn’t very bright! In fact, most artists I’ve met agree that human anatomy is one of the most difficult to learn and master.

DeviantART is a good place to look for tutorials.
    Try
